I started WinkMusic because there was a huge gap between what I was playing on stage with artists and the standard instrumental covers that were out there. I wanted to play arrangements with the magic ingredients that made the tracks popular in the first place, not versions that sent audiences and performers to sleep.

So in each WinkMusic arrangement, I try to capture the essence of the original, whether that’s gorgeous harmonies or the energy of the groove. I explore what strings can do, rather than dumb it down, which hopefully makes them fun to play!

Since I began more than a decade ago, they’ve made players smile and parties get up and dance, right across the globe.
